Wales & West Photography Show 2024

We are thrilled to share some incredibly exciting news with you! Ffoto Newport is honoured and delighted to announce that we have been selected as the official curators and hosts of the Wales & West Photography Show Gallery. Another significant milestone in our journey, and we are eager to elevate the photography community to new heights.

Who Can submit?

• Entry is open to all photographers, artists, curators, archives, collectives from anywhere in the world. The panel will be looking for high quality work.
• Your work should consist of or relate to photography somehow
• Submissions must be photographic or lens

Individuals and collectives are welcome to apply; individuals can enter 1 single image or a multi image entry (4 max)

Photographs can be from a particular project/series or body of work or just be single image, all images must be submitted to us via a digital method or via email

Collectives are also welcome to apply; as a collective, you can submit up to 10 photographs (a £30 submission fee will apply for every 10 images submitted)

What all entries have a chance of winning

• Submission review by Photo Industry Professionals
• Opportunities for Immediate Exposure (e.g. across show / partner social networks and websites)
• Prizes & awards will be up for grabs
• A chance to say a few words about your work to an audience

Photographers who are selected exhibit at the gallery will benefit from:

• Having their work produced for exhibition (At no cost to the photographer / artist)
• Exhibition exposure in the Shows main gallery in the exhibition hall
• Exhibition alongside some of the biggest brands in the photography industry
• Press exposure
• Being seen by over 6,000 people in person and over 50,000 online viewers, including a substantial number of visual arts professionals and the media plus industry leading brands
• Opportunity to have work seen at Wales biggest photography show
• Dedicated feature on the Festival website and online gallery
• Inclusion in the Shows marketing & PR campaign, which has an estimated reach of 15+ million people

By submitting you accept the following terms and conditions:

• You agree to supply high resolution files of your submitted photographic work for a printed exhibition at the Wales & West Photography show 2024 at no cost to you (the photographer)
• You agree to being included within relevant promotional material for the Wales & West Photography Show
• Winners will be announced on the Wales & West Photography show and Ffoto Newport social media profiles / websites / mailing list
• All winners will be contacted directly via the contact information provided during submission
• The decision of the Jury will be final
